Flowers in a Sap Bucket linoleum block print
Old metal sap buckets filled with cone flowers, hostas, liatris, and daisies from my perennial beds (and with a praying mantis who tagged along) were the featured decor in our July farm to table Dinner in the Haymow. Looking back through those photos now that summer has waned gave me the inspiration for this latest linoleum print which measures 22"x15". Since I don't normally work that big I had to carve 2 linoleum blocks and hand ink them individually before fitting them together like a puzzle.
As always these are printed with oil based Caligo inks on heavy weight BFK Rives paper. They are signed, titled and numbered and will ship carefully rolled up in heavy cardboard mailing rectangular "tubes". Lay flat for a few days to allow the paper to unroll.
